Itse olen kuulemma suorakulmioihminen. Kuvaus mätsää kyllä yllättävän hyvin, pakko sanoa. Tai ehken mä sentään ole incredibly messy, hiukan vaan.

Nopeamman testin saa, jos valitsee lonkalta jonkin kuvion. Siinä testissä tulin kolmioihmiseksi. Tehtiin tällainen työpaikan urasuunnitteluworkshopissa.

The TRIANGLE PERSON shares some attributes with the Box person. They are also very organised although maybe not to quite the same extent and are very focussed.
The desk of a Triangle person is likely to be relatively clear with a few distinct piles of work placed upon it. It is most definitely not cluttered.

Another defining feature of the Triangle's nature is their need to appear stylish and 'keep up with the Joneses' so to speak. Their offices are usually full of "status symbols" as Triangle's want only the best i.e. a huge desk, couch, private entrance etc. The walls are likely to be adorned with items demonstrating power, such as awards, degrees and certificates.

The Triangle likes to be the boss and to be in control and is very adept at taking charge, wielding authority over those who are less confident than them. Most leaders are a strong Triangle who, by nature, feel that they are destined to succeed. One of their strengths is the ability to delegate work to others - a key skill for any good manager. Triangles are however, highly opinionated and political and are typically not broad thinkers.

Another of the Triangle's less attractive traits is their "ambitious self-centredness." Not only can they be self-centred but they are also highly competitive and hate it when they are wrong. Being in the wrong is something that the Triangle finds it very hard to admit.

Typically Triangle's want things to be done their way, which may explain why they rarely involve others in decision-making. Triangle's also like to set goals and achieve them, as they are very driven individuals. They also like to get straight to the point and get frustrated with procrastinating Boxes. Furthermore, they feel that promptness for appointments is not sufficient - they feel that they must get there first so that they can scope the situation.

Only the finest restaurants will do where the Triangle is concerned and of course it must be widely known that they go there.

Tulos voi johtua osaltaan siitä, että olen opiskellut englantia vain yhden tunnin... ja kun siinä alussa kehotettiin vastaamaan viivyttelemättä niin annoin palaa, eli vastailin kyllä aika nopsaan.

Taitaa olla aika osuva kuvaus ainakin tekstin loppuosassa. Hirveän sosiaalinen en kuitenkaan ole, viihdyn erittäin hyvin myös yksikseni.. aika ei koskaan tule pitkäksi. Tuloksessa oli boldauksia, jotka eivät säilyneet kopioidessa, tuntuivat olevan ihan kohdallaan.. jos en olisi "creature of comfort", lue laiska, niin laittaisin ne alla olevaankin 



THE CIRCLE PERSON
The CIRCLE PERSON is a creature of comfort. Such individuals like to work comfortably and are often found with a cushion on their chair. It is quite possible that a Circle person would have a couch in their office as they prefer cushioned furniture to hard, wooden furniture.

Not quite as neat as the Box person, Circles usually have a little clutter and paperwork strewn on their desk and tend to carry a lot about their person. It may also be necessary to clean up after the Circle at times.

Bright, warm colours are definitely in favour with the bold Circle, as is the presence of a healthy plant on their desk. Expect to see photographs proudly adorning the desk of the doting Circle parent.

The Circle is definitely a socialite, enjoying a good social life both within and outwith the workplace. They have many friends, whom they invariably like to cook for, which may be because they are typically very caring and sensitive people. They also tend to join many clubs and are often placed in charge of the organisation's Christmas bash. Circles are no stranger to a good time and they tend to be "jolly, fun-loving people" who are at their happiest when those around them are enjoying themselves. In the eyes of a Circle, even their work colleagues are friends and they are more than willing to help them resolve problems if they possibly can, often using the phrase "No problem!"

Circles are very much focussed on the wellbeing of others and on maintaining harmony. They do not cope well with conflict and will often back down in the face of an argument. In general, Circles are good communicators who can listen and empathise well with others. They do however, prefer to talk to people on a one-to-one basis. Many of the helping professions are done by Circles for this reason. They can however be too accomodating at times which, can be damaging because sometimes they can be exploited. They can also be quite self-denigrating if things do not go quite as they had planned. Circles tend to act more as 'stabilisers' than leaders in the workplace.

Jaa, ettei sentään Flotte (laivasto), eli vain fliege. (Fliege on myös kärpänen, vaikka ymmärrän vähäisellä saksan kielen taidollani, saksaa en ole opiskellut lainkaan, tuon Überfliegerin tarkoittavan jotakin sellaista kuin kaiken tavanomaisen yläpuolella liitelevää.)

Niin, englantia olen siis opiskellut sen yhden tunnin. Sekin tapahtui vuonna 1963... eli ymmärrettävästi puutteita ei vain saata olla, vaan myös on, kielitaidoissani.

Überflieger on tietenkin ylilentäjä. Mutta siinä mielessä sitä ilmaisua ei käytetä.
Tarkoittaa, että jotkut vain lentävät yli mit Leichtigkeit, kun muut vetävät kivirekeä samassa asiassa. Jotenkin niin.. kumma, kun en löytänyt netistä virallista linkkiä sen merkityksestä..

Streber on haukkumasana, kun muut ei tykkää toisen koululaisen .. sanotaan vaikka motivaatiosta, koska hän menestyy.  Überflieger   on enempi positiivinen ilmaisu tosi lahjakkaille, Streber on tavallinen pulliainen, joka on ahkera ja kunnianhimoinen.

Tehtiin töissä myös tuo Myers-Briggs-luonnetesti. Sen mukaan olen INTP: http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/INTP

Wikipedian mukaan mm. A. Einstein oli luultavasti tätä tyyppiä. On kuulemma kaikkein harvinaisin (oudoin) persoonallisuustyyppi. Vain 1 % populasta pääsee samaan.

Streber on haukkumasana, kun muut ei tykkää toisen koululaisen .. sanotaan vaikka motivaatiosta, koska hän menestyy.  Überflieger   on enempi positiivinen ilmaisu tosi lahjakkaille, Streber on tavallinen pulliainen, joka on ahkera ja kunnianhimoinen.

Jännä että Saksassakin ahkeran tunnollisuuden kautta menestymistä käytetään moitteena. Koulussa usein ihannoitiin sitä, jos joku oli sellainen Ueberflieger, mutta Streberiksi ei kukaan halunnut tunnustautua. Jotain siinä on pielessä.
